The list of prestigious artists participating is full of great names, from Pat Metheny to Stefano Bollani, from Paolo Fresu to Roscoe Mitchell, Ginevra Di Marco, Eumir Deodato and Philiph Harper Quartet. 2. Maggio Musicale Fiorentino is an annual opera festival which was founded in April 1933 by conductor Vittorio Gui with the aim of presenting contemporary and forgotten operas in visually dramatic productions.
